Today, Conegan\u2014our subsidiary specializing in seafood product valorization\u2014is reaching a new milestone in its corporate social responsibility journey. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its site recently underwent a SMETA (Sedex Members Ethical Trade Audit)<\/strong> assessment\u2014an internationally recognized audit methodology used to evaluate companies’ social, environmental, and ethical practices.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

A continuous improvement process<\/h2>\n\n

This assessment focuses in particular on several key issues: working conditions, health and safety, the environment, and business ethics.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

For Conegan, this initiative reinforces commitments already embedded in its day-to-day operations: reducing its environmental impact, ensuring the well-being of its employees, upholding high standards for quality, traceability, and food safety, and contributing to the sustainable development of the local region.<\/p>\n\n

The goal is also to have a tool for measuring existing practices, identifying areas for improvement, and continuing to improve them over time.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n
