This is an opportunity to look back at this structuring investment led by our subsidiary Norfrigo in Boulogne-sur-Mer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A new chapter for Norfrigo<\/strong><br\/>After several years of studies and procedures, the building permit for the future cold storage warehouse <strong>Norfrigo 11<\/strong> has been obtained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new building will be located on Rue du Petit-Port, in Cap\u00e9cure. Construction is scheduled to begin in autumn 2026, with commissioning planned for 2028. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a capacity of <strong>30,000 pallets<\/strong>, Norfrigo 11 will renew and modernise our subsidiary\u2019s infrastructure while increasing its capacity to meet customer expectations and the changing needs of the agri-food sector.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>A project focused on energy performance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Norfrigo 11 was designed to combine <strong>logistics performance, innovation and control of energy consumption<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Enhanced insulation, the use of ammonia as a refrigerant gas with no greenhouse effect, reduced water consumption for cooling production, and a design adapted to the risk of marine flooding: these choices reflect the Group\u2019s determination to have a high-performing and more resource-efficient facility.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Stronger synergies within the Group<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This new investment should also make it possible to continue developing synergies between <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.norfrigo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Norfrigo<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/conegan.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Conegan<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The proximity of our two subsidiaries makes it possible to combine the Group\u2019s expertise in cold storage, logistics and the value enhancement of food products.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Norfrigo 11 thus illustrates the <strong>Groupe Le Garrec\u2019s commitment to securing its long-term presence in Cap\u00e9cure<\/strong>, modernising its facilities and continuing to invest in the service of its customers, its teams and the Boulogne area.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The future cold storage warehouse project Norfrigo 11 is featured in an article in the latest issue of Produits de la Mer magazine.
